this book is telling about childhood of the author, Tetsuko Kuroyanagi.
her childhood is strange and challenging. she never can be accepted in any school. 
only in the last school, Totto Chan can be accepted.
the headmaster of the last school is very kind, nice and like to hear all of Totto chan story.
her school is fun and made from the body of train.
Totto chan had a best friend.
she always bring food, made from land and sea.
i think it was an amazing school.  

i suggested you must read this book.
it really beautiful and wonderfull book.
